Ch ch ch ch ch ch changes...

Change may as well be a four-letter word for me.  But this change is actually great!  I've taken the leap and moved my blog to a more permanent site.  From this day forward, you can find me at www.kiminthegym.com

You'll still find all the great stuff you've found here:  my teaching schedule, links to articles, discount codes, cycle playlists and all that jazz.  Hopefully it will be a little easier to navigate.  You'll also be able to interact with me MUCH easier.  Hooray!  Because it's all about building a community of like-minded people.

What won't change?  Well, me.  This won't be a "How-to" site.   I have a few fun pages in store for the not-too-distant future with recipes and workout routines, but mostly you'll find my thoughts and feelings about running and fitness in general.  I always say, fitness is about how you FEEL.  And I mean it.  So check out my new page.  You can also follow me on Instagram at kiminthegym1

New Season- New Goals

My, on the far right, claiming my third place prize at the 2015 SoJo Marathon.

My 2015 race season is finally over.  And while it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, it was as good as it could be given my lack of training.  Looking ahead to 2016, I'm not sure I'll ever get back to where I was, but I know I want to try.  The SoJo Marathon was a big disappointment for me.  After winning two years straight, I came in third with my worst course time by 13 minutes.  I finished in 3:13, which by most standards is great, but knowing how fast I ran the course before makes that time hard to swallow.

In any case, it's over.  It's time to look ahead and move forward.  I'll take the next couple of months off of any real training and just focus on enjoying my workouts.
